Weight of the Chair

Honor

Honor governs the Office before authority ever flows from it.

Judgment

The Chair carries final judgment where consequence demands clarity.

Authority

Authority vested in this Office is exercised with restraint and directed toward the enduring interests of the Institution and those it serves.

Stewardship

The Seat preserves doctrine, appoints capability with discernment, and remains accountable for continuity.

OUR CONSTITUTIONAL STEWARD

M. Logan

Founder & Principal

Logan serves as the founding Constitutional Steward of the Seat—guardian of its doctrine, final authority over institutional direction, and custodian of the standards by which Obsidian acts. Over Two Decades of consequence based leadership, institution-building, and constitutional authorship inform the judgment exercised here.

Authority vested in this Office is carried with honor, exercised with restraint, and directed toward the enduring interests of the Institution and those it serves. Capability is appointed with discernment. Every decision remains answerable to our Charter, our Constitution, and the generations entrusted to carry them forward.

Continuity Beyond the Founder

The Constitutional Seat is permanent. While presently held by the Founder, its authority is preserved through our Charter, our Constitution, and the succession architecture of the Institution.

Doctrine endures. Honor remains. The Institution continues.

Philosophy teaches us to act,
not to speak.
